so my bf is in one of the top 3 NLUs. Other than having made it to there, I don't think there's anything special about his law school life. No extra curricular, just a couple of publications and very avg grades(somewhere in the middle of his batch). Yet, at the end of his 6th sem, he has internship acceptances from 3 amazing firms(no contacts or anything). Me, on the other hand, has decent grades(top 20% of the batch), a law review publication, a couple famous ADR competitions and am still struggling so so hard to find any decent internships. Oh, and my biggest flaw- I am from a t-2 NLU.

sorry for the rant, but just wanted to ask, are there certain firms that categorically just look for the premium NLU brand? have any of you seen something similar elsewhere? would love to hear.
