Qais Jamal all the way. Amazing person and has worked on few tickets
Why does this have 4 downvotes if it is the truth ?
There have been a lot of exits in the team since he became a partner - seems like he lacks leadership qualities.
How is Ambarish as a partner and his team at TTA?
I second that. Please research extremely well, the team has a handful of crab mentality peeps!
Arun’s team at JSA is low attrition.. juniors have been around for over a decade.
Agreed with the persons being great to work with: however, do through research about the persons in the team, and the attrition rate
Best Projects partner to work with in PA LEVEL? Honest reviews please. Urgent
I interned in the team, definitely the best internship I've had till date, very sweet team, and learnt a lot
Okay, noted - but then your threshold of nice is on a different tangent
You working/worked as an associate or interned with the team

What about Aniket Singhania's team at CAM? He has been a newly promoted partner at the Ahmedabad office as per the LinkedIn update of CAM.
Wrong info Bro. Avirup does pure projects work, but is now selective and holds with rates firm in that space
Avirup barely does any projects now. Ajay’s sawhney is mixed of projects and M&A. Bhupendra looks in Project side and Aditi looks in M&A.

Rest, about Arun please share your thoughts?
Isn’t Avirup’s work mostly M&A now? Sawhney is good and well placed at CAM.

How’s Arun’s team at Indus? Good work culture? His team?

Avirup’s team has good SA and PA and, Ajay Sawhney’s team has nice PA and Indus Arun’s team is nice.

Work for Sangita John (CAM), you won't be able to work with any other partner ever
Qais and Aditya Periwal at AZB. It’s not Projects per se, more Infra / Energy M&A actually. Good team and good work overall. The associates are chill too.
Avirup Nag at S&P now - lean team! Great working culture….!
Qais Jamal is also an amazing person to work with. Small team but awesome boss and culture.

And JSA - That is actually a good list of decent projects practice.

Then you have HSA, DLL, kochaar etc in rung two
As per this thread best project practice firms are: KCO, SAM, CAM, Saraf and Trilegal πŸ₯²
If you base your views on the ability of a partner on the basis of comments ar vote here, good luck. Take a look at their clients and see if the lawyers in their teams stick with them.
So many downvotes! Is it really that there is no good projects partner?

Agree! By my count, at least 9 out of all Chambers ranked lawyers for Projects in India have worked under AZJ at some point of their career!

If only AZJ from Trilegal had still been doing regular transactions. So many of the projects partners in the market worked with him once.
The OP has not even mentioned CAM. Clearly you suffer from "I exist" syndrome.
