All - I am currently working with T2 firm in Mumbai and have an interview scheduled for A1 position with B&P for their corporate M&A team in Mumbai. While they haven't confirmed the team name yet, wanted to have general feedback about corporate M&A teams. My base expectation is good a good work exposure and not a highly-toxic climate.

You are very wrong in your expectations. Extremely toxic.

Absolutely steller if you want to learn and have good exposure. There are some legacy HR issues in the firm, but the management is trying very hard to resolve them. Decent compensation as well in Mumbai which is at par with T2.

Avoid.
