> If this is the situation in the top IITs, then how bad are things in the lesser-known IITs in obscure locations? More contextually, how bad are things in the NLUs after students have spent significant amounts (direct costs, plus opportunity costs of taking gap years and education loans) keeping aside the irrational exuberance we see?
> Law schools (including the NLUs) have been raising their fees indiscriminately. In some private law schools, the total cost of 5-year LLB programs will now top ₹70 lacs by the time they graduate in 2029. NLS raised its fee by 25% in one go. Needless to mention, the salaries aren't galloping this way for some who get placed (most wouldn't be placed). At what point will the system break down?
