Do India-qualified lawyers get to serve secondments in countries like UK and Australia? If yes, what are the fields that are more prone to such opportunities?
Also, to lawyers who have transitioned from India to UK, does having SQE help? Almost all of the India qualified lawyers who have settled abroad seem to have been associates at the traditional T1 law firms before they shifted borders. Does the legacy of the T1 firms play a big role (decisive factor) in such lateral shifts?
