I know purchasing power parity wise Indian firms pay more but I'd rather be an associate at Slaughter & May than at a shop run by a small time businessman. I know this is not the best way to look at things but I know I am not the only one who thinks like that.

T1, TC is a huge waste of money, t1 + laterally shifting is much beneficial than wasting time on sqe and 2 year tc and then becoming an associate.
