Generally for much days a law firm retainer can take leave?(without getting fired). Especially what is the number of paid leaves?

What does the retainers who need to undergo a surgery do in such cases where recovery period is needed?
KCO: Paid leave is 30. No encashment of leaves, can carry forward 7. Plus 1 miscellaneous leave
That's well and good but the person is asking how many are reasonable to actually avail
Usually, for medical reasons, as many days as is required. This won't apply if you're on your deathbed, naturally.
SAM

29 days per FY.

No encashment. No carry forward.
Thank you so much. And what if you need to take more? Do they cut your pay?
They don't even let you take 50%, so the question of 'more' does not even arise
Bump. What if I need one year to recover from surgery completely. Can I do work from home?
