So-called controversial clip here: https://twitter.com/MsMelChen/status/1772240095480836254/video/1

Now, in elite law schools like NLUs/Jindal there are a lot of profs who are communist supporters (typically products of JNU, TISS etc). It's reflected in the BA syllabus and classroom lectures: Marx, Hobsbawm, Althusser, Foucault, etc, plus criticisms of globalisation, WTO, the concept of IPRs and of course Modi. Total blanking out of critiques of communism and Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, King Jong Un etc. Considering that first years are gullible 18 years olds and the first year syllabus influences one's intellectual outlook, maybe it's time we have a more balanced curriculum and have screenings of 3 Body Problem?
That you think there is an equivalence between intellectuals like Marx or Foucault and dictators like Pol Pot or Kim Jong Un shows that you need to improve your reading first, before preaching to others.
This show is American propaganda. Mao's teachings have been deliberately distorted. It was not like what is being shown by Netflix. Mao's teaching remain deeply relevant for us in India, where a feudal class of bourgeois capitalists, aided by petit-bourgeois elements and reactionary religious elements, is exploiting the poor.
yes educational institutes need to screen Netflix shows the bastion of historical accuracy.
