I am recently heard from a friend that IDIA students give CLAT together in one center (at least in 1 city), is this true?

If so how do they manage to do such a thing as centre’s are allocated by the consortium?

Also if it is true donsnt
No, as someone from IDIA, I can assure you that it's not the case. However, our visually challenged students from the same city are often allotted the same centre since the consortium prefers to have PWD candidates limited to one or two centres if possible for logistics reasons. Moreover, we usually fill up the forms together, so normal allotment may also take place together in the same city.
IDIA has influence over the consortium and major law firms. They also give special facilities for students in that centre like providing them with extra time to finish the paper.
Most cities have only 1 centre. So if all the students apply together and give same city preference then it is obvious they will get allocated together.
