I often see at firms that associates and even lower junior partners are not allowed to take in their own work due to exclusivity requirement. But senior partners and managing partners usually spend a lot of time in their personal (non firm) related work such as their own legal matters or structuring their own businesses or start up fundings, sometimes even with help from firm resources. While they continue to prosper and do personal work at firm time and over work others, they dont allow juniors to do so. What is your experience
