AFAIK, HUL and ITC generally hires freshers from Law School and NUJS. This time HUL offered around 12-13 LPA and ITC was close to 24 LPA.

There's no defined number here. For purely legal roles in reputed organizations, you'd be looking at 20-30% haircuts in some situations, and none (but a tax hit) in others.

For funds, the case is different, and it really depends on what you negotiate. I have seen folks make at par with Tier 1, with incentives for sticking long term added on. The longer you stick the more you go up the leadership chart and even take up non-legal roles.

Go for subsidiaries of US listed companies . Positioning and pay is great .
