To seniors I wanted to know what all things should I bring to college since campus is also not near to the city .

Both Obvious and non obvious.
Bring everything that BigBasket does not deliver (change address location to Nalsar and check what is available)

Buy a mattress and pillows before you reach campus.

You'll be joining during monsoon so get your umbrella (get something that is sturdy, winds here are strong). Also, evenings are borderline cold in October so get light winter wear if you can't handle 18-14 degrees.
1. Don't buy the ridiculously overpriced & terrible mattresses offered at the shop here, best to pre-order online with companies like SleepX etc to enable remotely decent sleep.

2. Bring lots and lots of summer clothing — winters here are minimal and ephemeral.

3. You get a bed, a cupboard, a bad-ish chair, and a small table. If you need, then consider ordering additional fittings/bookstands from Ikea instead of buying/bringing readymade ones — we have carpenters who'll be happy to install everything for a fraction of the cost.

4. Late night food is difficult to find here, Zomato etc closes down the few options it has at around 9pm. You'll have Ping's, our cafe, open till 12:30, and an average shawarma place till 1am. The vending machines have some soft drinks and junk food. But if you need/want healthy food, then consider investing in a second-hand/non-icemaking fridge so you can order fresh food from Bigg Basket in bulk and store it with you as needed.

5. Don't worry about bringing books right off the bat. The library has most essentials that you can borrow and/or get photostats from, for a fraction of the price.

6. Remember to not pack casteism, racism or classism with you. We want Nalsar to be a welcoming place for people from all backgrounds, and no hostility towards others will be tolerated without call outs. (Alternatively, you can reach out to any seniors yoh feel comfortable with, for anything untoward you go through.)

All the best!
Bring an electric kettle (for any cravings) and necessary medicines with you, we have a 24 hour medical facility too but more specific medications you should definitely pack.
