We got our Partner a birthday cake and he was so happy. He gave us the rest of the day off after he made sure that we stuffed ourselves with samosas, pakodas and pastries all of which he had ordered to treat us. There are still some good people left.
Did the partner ask for a gift? Gen Z are the most touchy folks sadly. Case in point.

The Monk who sold his Ferrari.

Who will cry when you die?

The above books should be gifted to all corporate lawyers.
And for that the Partner gets a bonus. High risk : high reward. Birthday gift bhi chahiye?

All this talk about Gen Z and stuff, but why are partners like you so touchy?

Your partner also kills himself/ herself to get work so that you can work crazy hours and earn your keep. Being a partner is not an easy job. Especially if you are working for lala firm.
itni a** ki**ing ki zaroorat nai hai, behave like a professional and ask him for a leave for the team on his birthday! :P

I work crazy hours so that the Partner can get a hefty bonus. That's as good as a gift the Partner deserves.

well someone once gave a partner airpods with his name inscribed. i mean his team did
What would be an appropriate gift to give your partner on occasion of their birthday. Something that is appropriate but not super expensive.

I think flowers would be acceptable? But what to give along with it? Chocolate?
