Lately, I am seeing a lot of CAs becoming advocates. They practise arbitration and commercial laws too. Honestly, they are better at drafting and subject matter skills. I, as a T3 and a non nepo, should be worried?
My parents are CAs and this path is what they are telling me to take but if this is so lucrative idk why most people dont even consider it
most CAs are anyways allowed to practise taxation law till ITAT level, after which they need help of lawyers. however, it is probably hard for them to take up matters which are non-tax and accounting related, like criminal, service, etc.
All they know is tax and accounting and can't speak English to save their lives. No issues here.
