For someone debating this issue, do consider the fact that S&R is extremely selective. It’s not a mass hirer like Trilegal.
Nice ya. SR lawyers deserve a good office. Long overdue. Everyone must be very happy with this development.
What is Trilegal and S&R paying to A0s and A1s? Can someone give an accurate salary comparison?
Heard trilegal CM has been poaching left right and centre across taking a piece out of law firms
So then would you guys recommend joining S&R?

What would the final verdict be, can anyone please paint an honest picture as to what is happening at the Mumbai office especially?

Would be really helpful to get some insights, thanks!
The intentional spelling mistake of β€˜sited’ does hide anything mam.
Get your facts Sir, M&A for years has been the biggest practice group at S&R
What bubble? They have been hiring strategically and in the coming days when there is going to be more work than now then we will see which firm is better placed to take on that work and especially cap marks
That’s what’s left now since M&A is severely depleted and everyone knows what kind of deals S&R CM is doing these days. So it says more about the situation there than anything else.
Is this confirmed though? I thought S&R is generally known for its good culture and mentorship values for its juniors, right? How has this perception eroded this quickly?
Losing lofty expectations that aren't aligned with billables is akin to losing deadwood. Look at the non-existent capital markets at Trilegal πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
I heard lot of associates are leaving S&R to join Trilegal. Is it because of handsome pay that is being offered that they are even leaving the year end bonuses at S&R? Whether S&R is doing something about it? Whether more news to come post 31 March?
