IITD does not have a full-fledged law department yet. It is only a COE focussing on Tech Law. For admissions, if you have qualified JRF/NET you are eligible for a direct interview. Nowadays if one has a 4-year (or more) UG degree with an overall percentage of 75% and above (or equivalent CGPA) she/he is eligible for direct admission to a Ph.D. program (i.e. without a Master's degree). You must remember that now we have a 10+2+4 system across all subjects and disciplines.

Does anyone know the process of PhD exam in IIT Delhi? I searched their website and also spoke to a few people there, but everyone gave conflicting information. Some said that only NET JRF candidates are allowed. Some said that NET JRF directly appear for interview, the rest can give written. Some said that only 2 year LLMs are allowed. Some said that the law dept/humanities dept isn't upto mark. Can anyone please help.
