MNLU Nagpur is going through a tough time. The university is struggling with serious money problems because of ▮▮▮. They don't even have enough money to pay their faculty members. Last month they got half salary and an official order was issued by registrar in this regard. The administration's indifferent attitude has made things worse, as there's no proper supervision. Also, there's no housing /hostel for the new students joining in June/July 2024. Vice-Chancellor VK is giving interviews, trying to flee as always because there's nothing left for him here. It's surprising that these big issues haven't caught the media's attention or reached people who can help. If anyone can, please share this message with Live Law, Bar and Bench, etc. Please save the livelihood of more than 100 people!
WTF! Says who? I am a current undergraduate there, and I haven't even heard of a funds shortage, let alone corruption. No faculty member has ever mentioned having their salaries cut.

The only partially true aspect here is that we are indeed facing a hostel shortage, for which we are planning to hire an external hostel provider.
Maybe you are not in the right circle of faculties. Switch to the other block!!
Same situation in MNLU, mumbai

Our registrar Prof. Anil Variath was made the scape goat and kicked out by the chancellor and co.

Theres so much ▮▮▮ going on here.
▮▮▮ admin and lack of support from the State punch NLUs right on its face. Welfare state pushing innovation and research is the need of the hour.
Don't fret. The Maratha reservation will save all the three MNLUs. There will hardly be any non-Maharashtra students in the MNLUs now to spoil the show.
This was bound to happen.

Why three NLUs in the state? After Mumbai, there was no need of nagpur and Aurangabad.

Even Mumbai has no campus till date when several batches graduated from temp campus
Don't join any NLU below top 6 or max top 10. All other nlus can't get you job or even good education or happy city life. New nlus are actually worse than good degree colleges.

Better study BA/ BCom at good degree college say Xavier's in Mumbai and join LLB at NLS or GLC or aim CAT/MBA at IIMs etc.
All are equally worse. The state NLUs are doomed. They suffer from ineffective leadership, inefficient administration, lack of funding, crumbling infrastructure, faculty politics, domicile reservations, absence of research, high fees, and entitled students.
Here comes the central troll. It's like Siachen mein jawan. Central bol diya na, bas bol diya!
Bhai, have you checked the sorry conditions of the law departments of the various central universities across the country lately?
Officially reported now.

https://www.barandbench.com/news/mnlu-nagpur-faculty-write-vc-paid-only-half-salary-amid-funds-crunch-at-university

State of most of the institution/entity be it educational, administrative, social, etc etc of the country including these alleged 'premier NLUs'.
But the report doesn't say how the crisis developed and what has the VC been doing. This VC had a poor record starting from his time in NALSAR. He was castigated in a inquiry report authored by Andhra HC judges. But Tauji saved his bro (VCV who was also pulled up in the report also scooted).

Legally India, then fronted by Kian, was the only one who had extensively reported on this NALSAR Inquiry Report.

NLU Assam suffered and when his eviction was a certainty, Tauji helped him at MNLU Nagpur where Santra folks rule. This time as well this matter will be hushed up and this VC will get an "honourable" exit.

It is for MNLU Nagpur students, faculty and admin staff members to keep their eye on the ball and ensure that this VC is not only exposed but also his ecosystem of corruption et al is uprooted. That would send a strong message to his successor whether from NLU or TLC (false categories anyway)
i think you are right cause i recently gave clat and got mnlu nagpur and now they are asking to pay all the fees for first year by april 30 that is around 3lac 75 thousand including councelling fees which last year was around 2lac 78 thousand and even no scholership for first year based on caste so now i get it why fees has increased so much
