Well then perhaps find minority / dissenting judgments, or arguments / positions of losing parties in cases that support the legal position that the client wants?
Do what he's essentially doing - stack those billable hours, babyyy. And then just send him whatever you can find. He committed it, he may spin the rest of it.
Hi, Iβm at a T1 and what Iβll say is a recurring problem. My partner follows the method of committing to the client something that is favourable and theyβd like to hear even if itβs not the correct law. He later comes and says that I have said this now get a case law that fits the bill.
The only thing? A case like that wonβt exist because itβs the wrong law. I have gotten into discussion spats w him wherein I have refused to agree to him and have maintained my stand ok reading of law. He says no I agree but get me sth else.
How do I tell him that Iβm not going to waste my time because itβs a lost case?

Give me a job at your firm, I will ask courts to manufacture cases which fit your requirements.
