Work life balance is slightly better than corporates. Average work day ends around 7 or 8. Pay is quite low initially but the teams are small and good. Good place to start commercial disputes.
It’s a sad lacking standards or mentorship team through and through in Bombay, have worked there and toxic clueless women leaders. Some saving grace with Nitesh’s team. Overall nothing to write home about, the team is carried by other practice areas.
Had a question here.. what’s the work life balance and pay like at these firms??
how? give individual insight, how it is better???
need a detailed review of the disputes team at Trilegal - both Mumbai and Delhi. is it toxic, how are the partners, is it worth it?? please share your experience. should I leave my job or stay where I am (I am currently working in an okayish firm)
Renata is basically the Marintime team of Ganesh & Co.

Have heard Phoenix also does maritime.
Crawford Bayley, Rashmikant and Mulla are the gold standard for Mumbai disputes. Crawford also does solid work in capital markets.
How are Crawford Bayley , Mulla & Mulla, Little & Co. ?
For IBC and debt recovery, you can also add LEAP, Manilal kher ambalal and Meraki chambers
Bose & Mitra, Ganesh & Co, Renata Partners, Brus Chambers and ZBA are excellent for maritime and shipping matters.
