NLIU people are deluded enough to claim better placements even though the place never released proper placement reports even during the hey-day of Legally India. Fact: Most NLIU placements are random tier-2 firms to make up numbers. And even that doesnβt allow NLIU to achieve 100% placements. As far as tier-1 goes, NLUD is on par if not much better.
Look at the NLUD stans foaming at mouth. Care to reveal the official placement reports of NLUD in the last few years, other than the false claims made to NIRF?
Foaming? Lol. Itβs a disgrace that some loser trolls with fragile egos who canβt crack AILET even have the gall to talk about NLUD despite never being within even touching distance of getting into the place.
Tier-2 perfection is not perfection. And put your money where your mouth is and let NLIU actually release placement stats. For the second-oldest NLU with the second-highest number of NLU alums in law firms, your placements are a disgrace.
Met them at the National Rounds and a friend had a round against them, heard externally they had a really good round in the round against the NALSAR team and seemed like decent team all around but the problem seems to be institutional. Their team was apparently constituted only in November (for context the problem release was in September) on the basis of the NLS intra-moot rounds.
If it's true, the team had half the time other teams did for memorial submissions + they hadn't mooted together before (and didn't choose each other apparently since no open challengers), both play a pretty significant role in Jessup and afaik not having an open challenger especially for Jessup is an anomaly.
Based on the round against them, friend said it seemed like a bit of a shocker the team didn't make it but same can be said for GNLU who seemed like favourites to go to the world rounds (experienced team all around and a member who'd reached Jessup world rounds in 2022)
Hopefully the team's can bounce back - Jessup is a fickle mistress if nothing else.
