Can someone drop names of some career counsellors who actually provide help and give good guidance rather than doing senseless PR and charging a bomb like the one from Chandigarh?
There is Aashna Who regularly posts on linkldn. Far better than the likes of YLCC atleast.
Bro Aashna, trashing a fellow "law student helper for internships" isn't fun, it displaces trust in you and calls your integrity into question. Samanika may not be the best and the charges are quite high, but I have heard that her mentorship calls are quite informative and atleast specialised advice, unlike Aashna
The response would greatly depend on where do you stand in your professional journey. Have you completed your degree, or are you still pursuing the same? If the latter, which year are you studying in? If a graduate, how many years PQE, etc. The only reason for such a query is because the requirements of a student requiring career counselling is far different than that of a professional.
Both Aashna and Samanika barely have worked in law firms for long. Aashna was there barely for 2 years. I'm sorry but to me a "mentor" atleast 5-6 years are needed. Your best bet is building that rapo with your seniors in team/office/partner . If you're lucky and well connected that'll help. Good luck
