laxmi nagar is cheapest and is also on the same metro line which hardly takes 10 mins.

I don't understand why everyone on LI is just acting like an idiot and not replying nicely.
Can vouch for this. Got a full 2bhk apartment there for a measly 10k back in 2015. 5 minutes from the metro, with multiple shopping options nearby.
Civil Lines is an affordable address that's close to both the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court. Unlike slummy East Delhi addresses like Laxmi Nagar, it also boasts safe public parks and clean roads. I recently moved to Civil Lines and must say it's a lovely place. Rentals for 2-3 BHK flats in Civil Lines range from 30K to 1L per month, depending on the age of construction. It has an excellent nightlife of its own too. Civil Lines is one of the most underrated addresses in Delhi; everyone thinks it's expensive because of the bungalows, but not many are aware of the apartments there, many of which are quite nice and relatively solid value for money.
N. D. M. C/Lutyens areas which is where Supreme Court is located are generally super costly. South Campus, Jor Bagh, South Ex, Laxmi Nagar is affordable.
