If a lawyer negotiated terms for a party, he may be called as witness during the arbitration.

That is why 'no-conflict' firms which only do disputes exist in this world.
Since Trilegal is out, it's now CAM versus SAM. Who all are following this epic battle?
It seems like it was Trilegal's strategic move to advise ZEE to engage CAM.
bruh Trilegal only puts up a farce of competence, they always mess things up. There is a reason IPOs have stopped going there
Can anyone tell why this happened? Is Trilegal fully out?
Why is Zee now going with CAM instead of Trilegal? Trilegal advised Zee on the merger. Is Trilegal out now?
They didn't get the approvals or the order, the companies did. Iykyk

Bro lawyers vet documents. They aren't involved in decision making
The lawyers in this case succeeded every way. They go the deal through. They got the merger approval. When SEBI barred the promoters, they got the SAT order. This deal died because the parties fell out.
Lawyers have nothing to do with decision making. No lessons for the clerks.

Do your due diligence like you did
Not much for lawyers to do here. Just bad corporate governance.
