I mean, if Senior Advocates and law firm partners are so kanjoos, why will they pay juniors/associates more even with a booming economy? Maybe they’ll hire more people, but at the same low wage. Unless there is complete dismantling of the licence raj in the legal profession I can’t see many changing. The coming economic boom will only benefit engineers, commerce and management grads.
