Is the mod a delusional kid for marking this (and not the one above) as trollish.
I have never stayed in Mumbai, which is why I say "may be true for Mumbai". No need to be snarky all the time.
Bhai I don't think u have ever been to Bombay and are some law student overestimating costs, 60lpa is definitely super deluxe comfortable in bombay and you get to actually live the sobo life unlike in other cities
Yes, that's why only Adani and Ambani can afford to look after their kids and elderly parents.
She is now on a month long honeymoon across Europe. Not sure if self sponsored or by family. Doesn’t really have airs or anything and does not live in SoBo either.
Don't know why you're getting down voted, even 10 lakhs a month wouldn't suffice is someone has kids and elderly to take care of
What’s wrong in that? It’s called choice. There was even an article about the sister of a famous Bollywood actress, who went to Jindal and joined CAM. She can be an actress any day and looks more beautiful than her sister, but it’s her choice to be a lawyer.
With the way cars, houses, flights and everything is being priced I won’t agree that 1 cr continues to be Richie rich territory and rather would provide a strictly UMC living. One surely requires multiples of that Sum to be rich
absolutely. it is not as if our UMC parents have collected tons of money for us to continue living the same lifestyle. so we work in law firms to ensure you have one foreign vacation every year.
The fact they can quit any day they want to helps them keep sane and go on for the sake of it
bro not every rich parent wants to part away freely with wealth with their kids, also not wanting to join their business or no freedom
The brackets are as per T1 cities. In Delhi and Mumbai, a lakh a month means nothing. Your family can have a comfortable living if you are earning close to 10 lakhs a month.
Bump. How come an ex-actor who literally acted with Amitabh Bachchan and comes from an affluent background is now working at CAM?
Everyone wants to earn money while young, you can't do that in Litigation chambers.
To continue being UMC with a little shot of the possibility of being affluent.
mods please update fasterπŸ₯² ive had this question for 5 years of my college - why would son of an industrialist/IAS who have amassed wealth power and connections for generations want to be at a law firm??
your definition of upper middle class is beyond me (around a lakh or even less? spoke like a daddy's true sweetheart fgs)
1 cr per annum I would say is RICHIE RICH in a country like India. Not upper middle class
That's why I'm going to academia. Too much money. Need to drain my wealth and sustain on peanuts.
