Old school, status quo maintenance, unwilling to experiment or improve institutionally. On the plus side, not bad with organisation, has got personal contacts which he is okay with using to help people whom he likes.

lol. The guy makes a manservant come with him to lunch and stand by him to attend to his every need. Doubt hed see any doctoral students as colleagues and try to help them build a career. Likely youll have to do stuff for him and not get credit.
