How does the hiring work at Counsel or Partner Designate or Partner roles in firms? How imp is it for someone to have books and to what extent does one need? To what extent does firm help in getting matters and having targets met
While I am more interested in understanding approach of bigger law firms like Sam, cam, khaitan, trilegal, azb, saraf, luthra etc, I will also appreciate if one could share experience of smaller firms
as an SA, it doesn't really matter. But PAs and Counsels are glorified partners so how much they can bring to the table really matters to the big firms as mentioned hereof. It is equally bad at the smaller firms too.
