Prof. Nagaraj, is a very senior academic. He is not only a product of the TLC ecosystem, but also carries slightly old generation values. While that does not seem to have caused major friction with Gen A to Y in his years at NLS... heard that Gen Z has not taken a big liking. In that respect he is not very different from Prof Elizebeth (the earlier VC). Students may find that they are both similar. While they may be similar, they are not the same. Prof. Nagaraj generally tries to restrict himself to well defined boundaries, but was flexible inside the same and open to some discussion/persuasion. Guess that was not the feedback about Prof Elizebeth, who appeared to have mostly become inflexible and impervious to any kind of discussion. The NLUO folks may have the latest though.
Professors as, teachers, and administrators are quite different in their functioning.

Prof Nagraj has left two NLUs midway amid a controversial tenure. He has converted TNNLU into a gloomy place. He operates like a black box. Nobody knows who is in real decision-making in the university. He is writing an obituary on freedom of speech on campus. He is just inculcating fear through his non-communication. If TNNLU is lucky, he will leave this place soon; otherwise, people must go.
