Does anyone have any information if Prof. Sandeepa Bhat would be continuing in NUJS. I heard that he would be transferring to another NLU soon. Would it be appropriate to ask him via email ? I am planning to go for a PhD in air law next year. But it would be futile if he leaves. Btw what happens to the PhD student when a faculty in charge leaves midway ?

There is no such thing happening anytime soon. There's no inter NLU transfer that's possible. NUJS isn't giving any faculty lien at this stage.

Re your other question, he can still remain your primary guide, another co guide will be appointed internally.

Does he teach only air and space law ? Not HR or IL ? Is the faculty teaching HR good as a guide ?

Yes, both the people teaching HR are hardworking people who like to interact with and help students. One is older than the other and the other just got her doctorate recently, but both are decent.
