I am currently studying B.com (Hons) in a top 5 college under Delhi University. I started getting interested in law and the opportunities a top 4 NLU can offer. I am planning to start my CLAT preparation and will drop B.com (Hons) if I can make it into a top 4 NLU as I want to work in corporate law.
However, I want my seniors in this forum to correct me if I am wrong. The reason why I am dropping to pursue a 5 year LLB and not pursue a 3 year one is because I believe there is a huge difference when it comes to corporate placements. Even when it comes to top 3 year courses like CLC/GLC. So I hope it is worth joining a 5 year LLB. In addition, I would like to know if the 3 year LLB from NLUs supersede the 5 year LLB.
are u idiot or what. There is not point of doing 5 year llb aside from top nlus or sls p. Itni fees hojati h 5 saal me admi loan leke nikalta h clg se. And on the prospects of placement too, 3 year is mch better coz one- fees is less, two less time taken to graduate and three- the schedule in 3 year llb is less rigorous so you can intern and be at par with 5 year chaps if u work hard. SO choose wisely - top nlus or 3 year llb.
