Maybe focus on yourselves. Anyone with brains can see the Harvard story is about a witchhunt, not plagiarism. NUJS has already lost most of its decent faculty. You could double their salaries and it would still not be worth putting up with a new round of student witchhunts.
Yet none of the people commenting on it anonymously over the years has not filed a single formal complaint against it, either at the university or before the UGC. That goes to show that the only people who are bothered about it are internal ones who are afraid to make their identities known.
Students don't complain because they need help of such professor for grade inflation and reco letters. Same reason why voters vote for crooked politicians. They need them for sops and freebies.
When and how do we get them to step down?
Given how much we pay to study at these NLUs the least we deserve are profs who did not engage in blatant plagiarism
