1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

My salary jumped by almost 3 times when I joined T1 from T2. My increments were not announced as of that time and i was already 4 months into the FY as an A1 at the T2 firm. Had it been announced then also it would have been close to 2x.
You will get the standard salary the firm has for their experience bands but you can expect a minor tweak here and there depending on which law firm you are switching from and how much you were making. So the hike mainly depends on what you were making earlier and not how much you will be making post the switch.
