Hostel scenes at NLUD
They don't generally get rooms. The LLB ones are given preference due to space crunch. That said, some of the LLM/PhD students have gotten hostels in the past by showing valid reasons so you could try applying.

First years in Acad Block. Hostel from second year. In Acad block, some rooms are cubicles, some are double sharing. In hostel, the rooms are T-shaped, and triple sharing. Some rooms third year onwards are double sharing. All PWD students get single rooms.
