I couple of months ago I gave interview for a high-end PE/VC firm and didn't make the cut. Today, I checked out that the person who was hired for the position I was interviewing was almost 3 years senior to me, from reputable law school and with slew of tier firm internships and had work ex of around 2 years in a T2 law firm. I felt solace that I being a completely freshers in this field with no illustrious name behind me made it this far, but should it be a full-stop to my story chasing big names? Do I really stand a chance against these heavyweights?
