Come back in 10 years with a Ph.D. in Law and first be a good law faculty. Then you earn the right to whine.
The moment I pay the fees I earn the right to whine. Your analogy makes no sense
You keep referring to peanuts. Are you protein deficient by any chance? Or of simian inclination? The pay is the same as 7th CPC, public university wise. It is fairly decent in a country like India. Only a handful of private places like Jindal pay more.
Doesn't matter.. this post itself is false! At time of writing, semester hadn't started!!
The SJA has been a bunch of "VC-Sir" loving jokers since 2019. No wonder this is the state of NUJS now.
You have a problem because your teacher had the audacity to ask you to read? Shocking!
Requesting moderators to take down this thread. The new semester has not even begun yet, for any student to see how the new professors are. The comments made in the post about background of teachers are false.
NUJS attracts the sort of faculty that it deserves. why do you think a talented and respectable person wants to work in that place?
Please name them. Afaik Dr SKB- LLM Alumni from NUJS & Phd from NLS has been made permanent. Similarly Dr Anuradha Ghosh- ex guest faculty has been recruited. There have been few others too but CV seems good
It’s a malaise throughout the state, and as you know former education Minister, Partha Chatterjee is in jail in connection with

corruption in recruitment.
Whereas the BJP appointed education ministers have done such a wonderful job in running the education system of the country.
Even if it's written by a faculty, how does that change the issue at hand?
Not the OP, but there are clearly different writing styles in the comments. 'course, one may be feign those.
What's there to discuss? Almost no one here has information about the background of the people recruited. They haven't started taking classes yet. So what's the discussion gonna consist of?
Does it have a good International law faculty ? Geniunely asking, since I'm coming there for an LLM and planning to take a non-corporate masters.
There's a senior professor who knows his stuff but not very interested in teaching. There's a junior assistant professor who is helpful and approachable. He also publishes regularly.
Sandeepa Bhat is one of the best professor in India for international law.
PIL generally is not his specialty. He's excellent for Space Law and Aviation Law and decent for Trade Law.
SJA since 2019 onwards has been pro-VC. NKC hasn't seen any SJA holding him accountable. COVID batches sja is worse. They only care for attendance exemptions and extensions
Students don't even stand up for elections now. It's a sad time for NUJS student community.
In order to hold other people accountable, one needs to have a straight spine and clean hands. The students no longer have either.
