Tier One intern, I was told to compile some data from sources, including floppy discs. But my laptop has no mechanism. How to do it?

Go to a cyber cafe. They will copy the data from the disc to your pen drive.

Not sure the Firm permits taking official data outside without permission.

Better to ask the IT people to help you out. They'll have the required tools.
