I am from Thrissur, Kerala studying in Hyderabad. Received a placement as a fresher in Bangalore in a small office. My salary will be 35K in hand. How to manage with 25K in Bangalore.
Priorities - a single room within a PG/Flat. Travel home once a month (Kerala) Good Food etc.
How to budget my salary? Also how to get cheap accommodation.
I stayed at a pg in Ashok Nagar which costed 10k/ month (single room) without food, if your office is near mg road or Richmond circle, its a 15-20 min walk it will cost you around 5-10k for food, and other miscellaneous expenses and rest 5k for travelling to Kerala.
I think you should search for accomodation near office so that you could save a lot in travel
