firsties from other NLUs keep shitting on each other, meanwhile the recent graduates dgaf. I've recently graduated from MNLU M, we've had at least 30 PPOs, total of 40-45 job offers. This is with the admin fucking up our placements (and the placement officer getting poached twice) - the batch itself has amazing work ethic, hence the offers. Many people are going into lit, some into judiciary and some into UPSC, so they didn't even apply. At least 5-6 are trying for good LLMs.
Admin is shit, students are good - I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like half the batch.
Have NLU-O and HNLU outperformed us? Could be, idk. The fact is students are building up the brand name regardless and any person in any of the three will do well provided he/she has decent work ethic.
last year NLUO was much better than other T2s with their placements, this year with the market being worse off, the placements have considerably taken a hit here, about 40 have been place as per my knowledge, with college placements being just 10-15, more ppos might arrive tho.
How can a state be a parameter to judge a college, if that's the case then MNLU definitely has the guts to place their whole batch as mnlu is situated in one of the richest states in India, but everyone knows the reality and u also know with ur conscious state that they were not even able to place there 50% of the batch.
If the Hnlu is situated in the worst state of India then they won't be getting 1cr from the state gov every year specifically for mooting.

MNLU has no actual college placements. actually its so bad that as far as i heard from someone in mnlu that the admin now has a new rule that only top 30 of the batch will get one month deemed attendance for internship (which they get in 4th and 5th year every sem) and only if its a top tier firm,the admin will prolly reconsider it but who knows after all the internal politics
Stop fooling around, NLuo has placed only 5 students and Hnlu figure is around 8... My god!! Hnlu peeps have no job other than to hate on mnlu because no self respecting students wishes to study in a farm situated in the worst state of India

NLU Odisha- Above Average Placement Rate
Mnlu Mumbai- Low placement rate

Kudos to HNLU for their records then as they are doing well as compared to other T2 NLUs despite domicile reservations.
MNLU Mumbai is Tier 3 at best.
Mnlu has nothing to show in terms of placements.
