Just read that LawSikho is doing an IPO, DRHP approved, raising 50 cr at 200 cr valuation

They will now get listed at NSE emerge

Is this the first legal startup to do an IPO? Does it make them larger than most law firms?
5 minutes' silence for all the haters on this platform and outside.
170x oversubscribed so far - with a few hours to spare

lot of action

what does it mean to you?
Didn't know that merely filing for an IPO is a marker if success.
Didn't know that what you had written makes any sense in English. Still don't.
Bhai, this is some confidence to use the past tense and the present tense in the same sentence and messing it up, while trying to correct an innocuous typo.
Learn about the interaction of tense with universal truth.
Lawsikho IPO is 20x oversubscribed on day 1. This shows that the whole thing is rigged and a publicity stunt.
50x oversubscribed so far

Solid demand from QIBs which shows it not a mere retail frenzy

Waiting for the people were crying on this thread to share their hot takes, it has been a slow week
Why did it hit lower circuit after listing at 125% premium

Anyone can explain what is going on
Bhaisab don’t know about you but normal insaano me IPO karna badi baat mana jata hay 🤦
Depends on listing price. Please read my comment again. 'Mere' IPO, is it a marker of success? If it lists at a discount, it is a loss for investors. It makes a gain only for sellers, which may not include promoters.
On day of listing you will say so what it listed with 50% gain, lets see what happens in 6 months

Here is an idea: if you believe the stock will not do well you can try shorting it ;)
40% GMP premium- looks like headed for blockbuster

Who was shorting again 😼
Current GMP 125 - looks like headed for a blockbuster listing

IPO opens on 19th
Hows the shorting going please update us

🍿
I want to know if that guy actually shorted because then he might be actually losing money with Lawsikho seeing record oversubscription

Can we have him tell us how much he is losing on that short selling
Can I also have a close up of his face on the listing day at 930 am as the stock trading begins
that dude just ran away? no banter from him? damn

come back we miss you

I promise we will go easy on you henceforth 😂
Those who questioned it are proven right because it’s too much oversubscribed on day 1. This is not good.
The stock got stuck in lower circuit on day 1

What does this mean?
Nobody cares if you are getting annoyed by any ad in the platforms that you frequent. That's how marketing works.
Just like the hundreds of trolls who frequent LI.
Imagine after IPO they will have more money to flood you with more ads - how do you feel now?
You can’t buy YouTube premium but has a problem with ads
they can't afford S/CAM or S&R so maybe KCO or Indus (Indus however does not disclose itself in the offer docs) will take the bait haha. I don't see any form of announcement or DRHP filing though:/
Indus costs more than SAM and CAM. KCO and CAM are known to undercut the IPO market.
I would really want to have a word with your friend. And No I work at CAM. We severely undercut
Calling an in-house counsel a buddy literally reflects upon your standards. Gyaan mat de zyada ECM enthusiast ahh third year student.
Aww.. Ego hurt ho gya? Try to find why Indus does not mention its name in DRHP now, but was doing for DRHPs filed before 2023. Kid, there is a reason you are an in-house counsel. ;)
As per recent SEBI directives, only company counsel names are now allowed. No DLC or ILC advisors to BRLMs names to be included.
Shhhh.. Mx. In-house counsel ka ego hurt ho jayega. Unhe sab aata.
COUNSELS

EX STUDENTS OF LAW SIKHO ADVANCED CAP MARKS COURSE.

😍😉

WHY hire external counsel when you produce the best through courses.
Typical lawsikho stunt

Giving a chance to newcomers

Saving a few bucks along the way
Fake news. No such DRHP is uploaded on SEBI's website.
Look for Addictive Learning Technology Limited.
its a good time to cash in the growth. who gives a shit about what eventually happens
Lawsikho has at least a couple of PE funds willing to fund them but they preferred listing for reasons best known to them
I wonder how you missed the part where they have been growing 100-200% year on year and getting into new markets fast
What is your take after the IPO got massively oversubscribed? Any thoughts on listing price?
Noob here. Why is it important? What significant impact does it have on law students, lawyers, advocates and legal education as a whole ? Isn't it just another company? Genuinely asking.
The haters hate Ramanuj for 2 main reasons:

1. He disses NLUs.

2. He is brazenly RW and openly attacks wokes.
Ramanuj isn't RW at all. He is a businessman, nothing more or less.
he is very passionate about right wing causes and capitalism
How rich is Ramanuj personally? Will he be worth 20-30 crores in movable and immovable assets? Or even more? Does anyone know?
Bhai kya pura team ko bitha rakha hai LI pe?
Also one more reason it is important:

well paid remote jobs - not restricted to NLU grads. And they employ over 500 lawyers as per what I can see on LinkedIn, total strength around 700
It's an SME IPO. Relax guys. Literally Pecos in Bangalore has also done an SME IPO.
Bhai tu bhi 50-69 cr raise kar le ipo kar ke fir toh

What is stopping you 🤦
What is the pecos stock? Can you tell me the ticker, I may have some beer money to invest
Pecos market cap is 13 cr

As of today lawsikho is 240 cr

On listing may get to see 500 cr

that is the difference bro
Bro got it almost right

Listed at 468 cr market cap
Bad decision to go on Emerge Platform

They could have bought a Mainboard next year at higher valuations
lawsikho IPO fully subscribed in less than an hour.
Fully subscribed in 26 mins

Currently 12x oversubscribed 🥳
Company's valuation - 210 cr

Money raise - 60 cr

Post listing, Ramanuj and Abhuday hold shares worth 70 cr each, rest 70 cr with other shareholders. Did I get that right?
23x on day 1

Lets see where it goes on tuesday and Wednesday

To the 🌙
Irrespective of what happens, ramanuj (I know you are reading) you and your LinkedIn posts are cringe and annoying. Please stop and concentrate on your business
He's doing both quite well, so your opinion doesn't really matter. Stop following him on linkedin.
