Wanted to know if they are hiring from 2024 batch or they have completed hiring? Also, is there a hiring freeze there as well?

Further, if recent assessment interns can share their experience or if someone recently received an offer from 2024 batch.
ICUL Funds team is like a Lamborghini in a Dharawi street. While the firm is tier 3/4. Just the funds team is elite (better than any tier 1 funds team)
Haha, must say this is the most hilarious depiction of a firm’s practice. On a serious and more genuine note, most of the good/big firms are champions and market leaders in particular practice area/s whilst still being decent in others. Be it S&R for capital markets or even the likes of AZB in M&As or may be the old NDA for their erstwhile funds practice. So nothing wrong in that. Let their one champion area not overshadow several others where they are rapidly growing and making a good name too. But yes Funds practice does clearly stand out for now so go for it if you get a chance. Good luck
Hey thank you for this however, don’t you think it’s a double edged sword in that if you don’t like the work and all, you don’t have many options to switch to (plus you cannot really shift cities).
Believe 2024 batch recruitments were over a while back and now PPOs for 2025 batch are in progress.
Ummm they like to belittle their associates and play favouritism too much. People in the team have huge egos. Freshers, PLEASE trust me, don't start your career with specialising in something so niche. All funds team of the country are toxic. If it doesn't work out, few years down the line it will be difficult to switch to another practice area or worse, begin as an A0. PLEASE, Speaking from bitter experience
Pretty decent bunch of folks. High retention rate due to good payout, learning, independence with reasonably okay wlb. Do check with your alumni working there. Funds has a huge extension of related practice areas so come out of a misnomer that it is niche. People who have not done it tag it as such whereas its a forever booming wide practice area. No wonder, that Funds lawyers are always in high demand regardless of the overall legal market or

economic conditions. Speak to any headhunter and you will get the above verified in toto.
