some individuals seem to have an abundance of time to belittle others. However, there is no harm in getting to know these individuals. In fact, it is possible for people to find inspiration from them and choose to follow a similar path or career trajectory. And if that bothers you, then ignore the thread. LOL
People from NLUD often leave T1 firms, a trend possibly observed in other law schools except for GNLU. They choose to pursue endeavors that create a tangible difference in people's lives. For instance, Harshit Kohli worked at KCO, later leaving to start a venture focused on uplifting farmers. His initiative has significantly increased the income of numerous farmers in Fatehpur effectively doubling their earnings - this is just one example
Of course not. Nobody is in the league of NLUD because they are afraid to play in the league as others. They operate in an isolated league without any competition. When it comes to the achievement of alumni, they aren't any special compared to the other NLUs, which is a fact that they cannot digest and hence needs to parrot their claim to superiority everywhere without any substance.
Great to see so many law grads doing MBAs. So itβs becoming quite a popular choice and with good reason, as itβs a shit life working for Lala firms and even shittier as a court advocate.
Absolutely right. Other NLUs have diversity in their career choices: law firms yes, but also UPSC, IIM, higher studies etc. At NUJS they just join firms.
This is a blatant lie. There are many NUJS alumni who have cracked UPSC and are decorated officers, many who have done MBAs from several IIMs and abroad. As for higher studies, after NLS, NUJS happens to be the next NLU from where alumni have won the highest number of foreign scholarships over the years including Rhodes, Chevening, Gates Cambridge etc. and certainly the highest number of academic positions all over the country. So jealous anon trolls on LI and their opinions don't really matter.
No, it just shows that you're a lousy researcher. It is amusing to see you call others mediocre, despite them having achieved more than you ever will in your life. Moreover, the names of the people and many of the places where they have pursued their management studies from have been mentioned in this very thread. That makes you a lousy reader and a lousy researcher both. In summation, you are a troll. There is literally no legal career other than higher judiciary where NUJS alumni haven't done well. In higher judiciary, that honour remains only with NLSIU alumni and nobody else from among the NLUs.
That variety exists in every NLU. The places from where NUJS alumni have done their MBA from include Wharton, Columbia, Yale, Texas McCombs School of Business, London Business School, Ivey Business School, NYU, Duke University, INSEAD, IMD Lausanne, Ohio State University, York University, Georgetown, Cornell University, University of Virginia, Boston University, University of Toronto, NUS, UNSW, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, to name a few. And these are only people whom I personally know of. There are bound to be more alumni. The trolls here display their ignorance with every passing comment, including the idiots below.
And none of them will contribute anything to you, us, the country, the legal education or the legal system. They're doing it for themselves and happy about it. You do something for yourself and your family who have hopes for you to be someone in life.
