I have tried my hand in litigation and corporate internships. Not interested in both. Since I am at a point where I will have to take a permanent role now, plz suggest what else can I do with my law degree. I am not someone who would sit for competitive exams. I am academically good but don't want to risk my 1-2 years preparing just for exams. And want to start making money now itself. Even if it is 12-15k a month.
Pays less. Competition more. No more sure short tenure. No PhD no life. Phd more post doc.
As if there is no/less competition in litigation and corporate. Pay is good (for only some places) in only Tier-1 cities. Where one also has to spend a lot.
Litigation still has an upward curve, especially in terms of wealth and power. Post a decade, you could start earning in lakhs. Won't happen as an academic, especially since they're bound by ugc and pay commission rules. The only places you'll get lakhs is rich pvt colleges like Jindal or Ashoka, but such institutions require high calibre CVs with university abroad & other work experiences, etc.
Didn't deny about pay. I said it is only good in Tier-1 cities. If the same can be the scenario in lesser know HCs, please let me know. I think it is not. XD
