CAM, like every other firm has its own email framework wherein external emails such as yours will not reach the partners without the approval of the IT team of the firm (approval may also be given by the partner, but if you don't know the partner then obviously no such email will be approved). Therefore, cold emailing a partner is virtually pointless UNLESS (a) you have somehow procured their personal email and (b) the partner actually reads and replies to random emails on that account.

So even clients first ask CAM Partners to get their email ids approved by IT team before sending them an email? If it's true, it's highly impracticable.

Some firms have softwares to flag and truncate emails with the subject being "Internship App..." etc so yeah, its quite possible that your email never reaches them. For clients, during the consultations with the firms, the IT team enables access to partner/team members emails since its an external mail id - seen this happen at the tier 1 firm I work at. The only way to bag an internship without hassle is by way of using the concerned team's clients as reference and asking them to shoot the email with your CV and transcripts to the concerned partner. Their blue chip clients have more higher secure IT softwares and advanced IT departments. You wish you can get them to refer you by cold mails.

This is just not true. Incoming emails are fine, it's the outgoing ones that get blocked.
