There's been a covid outbreak in CAM Bangalore. At least 7-8 confirmed covid positive cases in a small office of 100 lawyers; many more showing symptoms. However, a friend tells me that they're still insisting that everyone comes to office. They didn't shut down the office when the first case came up and now it's spread to so many people.

We are all vaccinated and need to live with covid. But insisting lawyers to come to office between Christmas and New Year's when there's hardly any work is pathetic. Work from home works and the firm could have declared it for one week.

Does CAM not care about the health of it's lawyers?
β€œDoes CAM not care about the health of its lawyers?”

Why are you asking rhetorical questions?
The kind of toxicity and stress CAM fosters as its internal 'culture' is indicative of how much it cares about the health of it's lawyers.
The answer is no. They made it very clear during the second wave only. Staying after that is like consenting to not demanding any consideration from them.

Thanks!
