Do working hours get better when you are at a senior position like senior associate, principal associate or partner? Does it get better over the years with promotions?

Same hours. Just the nature of work changes.

Oh please. It definitely gets better at partner level. My partner only assigns work and seldom reviews them and leaves office anytime at his discretion. Not a rainmaker either.

My Of-Counsels operates like that, they only actually start doing the work when their ass is on fire or during quarter closings. So, to answer the question, it definitely does get better after making partner.
