US politics is full of Harvard law school alumni, but we don’t even have an MP from the Harvard of the East. Very sad state of affairs.
Ashish goel has worked closely with senior congress leaders but I'm not sure he would want to contest elections, more suitable for a RS nomination

Prashant Deshpande (NLS 2000) contested from Uttar Kannada LS constituency in Karnataka on a Congress ticket in 2014.
None of these people have a real chance except for Avani Bansal, because of her family background, financial resources and proximity to Rahul Gandhi. Jaiveer Shergill is no doubt rich, but not influential enough to get a Lok Sabha ticket.
