I saw a few posts saying that CAT is hard for non engineers, but when I checked out the portions online, it was quite similar to the math we had to do for CLAT.

Considering this, how difficult is it to crack CAT, and is it a viable career option for lawyers if they do not enjoy their work?

CLAT ke quants ko CAT ke quants se compare kar rahe ho idek what to say. It's not impossible for non engineers ofcourse but it's hell lotta work and yes, CAT (MBA from top 15 b-schools) will always be a viable career option.
