Mostly Arbitration and white collar. Takes care of his team. Loves food and dogs. Be prepared for long sessions on complex legal issues with good food. Temperamental, eccentric, but otherwise a really nice guy to work with.
He is mostly involved in arbitration matters and a fair bit of litigation also, there used to be a bunch of associates working for him. Post-covid there are 3-4 associates, and the starting pay is around 25k however from what I have heard, he increases it swiftly if he finds someone extraordinarily good.

Does a fair chunk of pro-bono work also, have seen associates putting in long working hours but otherwise Percy (as everyone fondly calls him in the office) is a very kind and sweet fellow.

If money is not consideration, he is an excellent lawyer and has the patience to teach juniors.

P.S. This was my observation as an Intern
Working with Percy has its good and bad times. The good ones overshadow the bad ones. He gets deep into a problem. Deeper into the law and comes out with thumping good arguments. The problem is that most like ready made two minute arguments - Percy is just not that kind of lawyer. As a person, he is very generous and takes care of his juniors and friends alike. A good human bieng. Loves his dogs, seafood and cigars.
Having worked with him closely for a considerable amount of time, I can safely say that he is one of the best legal minds in the country.

Has a good deal of arbitration and commercial litigation along with white collar matters.

Is very considerate about his juniors and wants to teach everything he can.
You get a variety of matters in these chambers, everything from a white collar crime to more complex financial and commercial arbitrations. The Chambers of Percival Billimoria is one of the premiere law firms in India. Percy is a man who has built the biggest law firms of our country with his own blood and sweat and now continues to practice independently. At the moment the chambers have 3 associates and some additional resources by the virtue of their exceptionally strong network in the legal community. If you want to start your career in law and actually be able to learn how to be a good lawyer, these chambers are where you want to be. Firms like trilegal, azb, and cam swear by Percy's analysis. He is a living legend in the legal fraternity. No doubt about it
Kuch bhi. Unless you have a specific set of confirmed facts, don't go around spreading shit.
