Not a firm, but MV Swaroop has a great practice and does a bunch of IP, tax, and other civil work. Really nice person to work with. I enjoyed both internships I did with him a couple of years ago.

Chennai is a great choice for IP disputes along with Delhi, since most of the prominent MNC's manufacturers have their India base in Chennai. So Madras HC has been a battleground for all sorts of IP infringement matters. And not to forget that one of the main Film industry - Kollywood is headquartered here.
