I'm a final year student joining SAM this year. Please give some leads on their rotation policy, is their random allotment or are we asked to pick a pool of preferences for practice areas out of which allotment is made? How does rotation broadly work? What is the duration and how is final team allotment made?

I've heard they have two rotation cycles of six months each.
